Dell Revamps Commercial PC Lineup With Thinner Designs And AI-Ready Performance
Dell Technologies has unveiled a major overhaul of its commercial PC portfolio, introducing a new generation of laptops, workstations and peripherals aimed at hybrid work and AI-driven workloads.
The refreshed range centres on the new ‘Dell Pro’ branding, replacing legacy naming and signalling a shift toward slimmer, more premium business devices.
The headline update is Dell’s redesigned notebook lineup – Pro Premium, Pro 7, Pro 5 and Pro 3 – all of which are thinner and lighter than previous generations while integrating AI-capable processors from Intel and AMD.
The flagship Dell Pro Premium targets executives, offering a magnesium alloy chassis, optional OLED display and an 8MP HDR camera, while being up to 7% thinner than its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the Pro 7 line focuses on portability, with Dell claiming the thinnest 13- and 14-inch commercial laptops and 2-in-1s in their class.
For mainstream business users, the Pro 5 delivers scalable configurations and improved battery life, positioning it as the likely volume seller. Entry-level users are catered for with the Pro 3, which still includes features such as Wi-Fi 7 and lightweight designs starting under 1.3kg.
Across the range, devices support Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors, enabling on-device AI workloads and Microsoft Copilot+ experiences.
Dell has also expanded its desktop and workstation offerings. The new Pro 5 Micro desktop (pictured below) introduces compact, USB-C powered computing with built-in AI acceleration, while the Pro Precision lineup includes what Dell claims is its thinnest mobile workstation to date.

The company is also leaning into hybrid work setups with new Pro P monitors featuring integrated conferencing tools, including AI-powered cameras, noise cancellation and USB-C hub functionality.
Security and IT management remain a focus, with Dell highlighting features such as quantum-resistant protections, modular components for easier servicing, and standardised BIOS across platforms.
The refresh comes at a critical time as organisations prepare for large-scale PC upgrades while balancing cost, security and AI readiness.
Dell said the new devices will roll out globally from late March through May 2026.
