Crestron Unveils No-Code Platform For Home OS Installers
Crestron has rolled out a new configuration platform for its Home OS smart home system, aimed at making life easier for residential dealers and integrators handling increasingly complex home automation projects.
Configure Pro is a professional, no-programming tool designed to help dealers design, configure and deliver Crestron Home OS projects faster and more consistently.
The platform replaces much of the friction associated with configuring Crestron Home systems, using standardised workflows to shorten training times and help installation teams maintain consistency across multiple jobs.
Crestron Home OS is the company’s smart home control platform, used to manage lighting, AV, climate, security, door locks, cameras, shades and scenes across touchscreens, remotes, keypads and mobile apps.
Configure Pro adds a more visual approach to some of the more detailed parts of a Crestron installation. Clear input and output labelling is designed to simplify audio and video routing, while visual keypad configuration gives installers a clearer view of actions, engraving and button behaviour.

A visual Sequence Editor also supports delays and conditional logic, allowing dealers to build and maintain more advanced system behaviour without writing code.
Michael Short, Crestron’s Vice President of Marketing Operations and Residential, said the platform was built to support professionals delivering Crestron Home systems every day.
“Configure Pro was built to support the professionals who bring Crestron Home experiences to life every day,” he said.
“It gives dealers a faster, more intuitive, and more scalable way to deliver exceptional systems while preserving the flexibility and craftsmanship that define a true Crestron home.”
Dealer feedback from early access testing helped shape the platform, with Crestron saying workflows and features were refined around real-world installation scenarios.
The launch comes as Crestron continues to expand the scale of Home OS deployments, with the company recently announcing larger validated system sizes for Crestron Home projects.
Crestron Technical Institute will support the rollout with dedicated Configure Pro training, including self-paced content and live education sessions. Additional documentation and community support will be available through Crestron’s online dealer channels.
