It will go on sale on 11 April in Australia and 150 other countries globally at all major carriers, Samsung announced overnight, but did not confirm pricing.

All four main telcos: Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Virgin have all today confirmed it will be selling the S5, and will be hoping it will do the business, as its predecessors S4 and S3. However, none released any pricing or plan info.
Telstra spokesperson said it’s “excited about the new Samsung GALAXY S5, launched in Barcelona today.
“We can confirm that the Samsung GALAXY S5 will be available for Telstra customers when it is released in Australia. Customers can register their interest here.”

Vodafone Australia also tweeted confirmation the new Android will be available at the telco, and opened pre-registration online.
“We can’t wait to get our hands on the new #Samsung #GALAXYS5! Want to be one of the first to get one? Register here.”
The new Galaxy S5 comes in 4 colours: charcoal Black, shimmery White, electric Blue and copper Gold. Its likely S5 will be bundled with Samsung new Gear smartwatch, announced this week.
