COVID Jabs Now Available At Big W Stores, No Discounts

The Covid-19 vaccination push has stepped up another notch with the news Big W are set to use three stores that have been closed to in-store customers since late July to get as many as 20,000 jabs into the arms of team and family members.

Their pilot shop-turned-clinic in Wetherill Park has already administered as many as 200 jabs in the first week of the initiative.

In another step in the battle against the deadly disease, Woolworths have expanded rapid antigen testing to 11 distribution sites through NSW and Victoria, with eight more set to become active in the weeks ahead.

The head of Covid response for Woolworths, Ross Spencer, says, “Making vaccine access easy and simple is key to driving uptake. We’ve seen that in our distribution centres already and we’re seeing it now as we stand up these vaccination hubs.”
