COMPUTEX: MSI Launch Next-Gen 4K Workstations

Global gaming brand MSI has unveiled a suite of upgraded workstations which feature slimmer designs, 4K displays, NVIDIA GeForce RTX or Quadro RTX GPUs, and 9th gen Core i9 Intel processors.

The updated workstations include the WS Series, WE Series, and brand new WP Series.

The Workstations will all feature the new NVIDIA RTX Studio badge, marking them as premium laptops for content creators such as graphic designers, video editors, and architects.

NVIDIA’s top of the line RTX graphics chips offer a powerful combination of real-time ray tracing, AI processing, and high-resolution video editing. 

All models come with MSI’s Creator Center exclusive software which automatically optimises tasks related to content creation including adjusting performance settings for applications such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD and ANSYS.

The Workstations also meet the United States Military Standard (MIL-STD 810G) for durability, capable of enduring severe conditions such as high/low temperatures, humidity, altitude, vibration, shock, sand and dust.

The top-end model is the WS65 which features top-of-the-line NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU plus is powered by a ninth-generation Intel Core i9.

“Innovation is at the core of MSI’s product design, and the WS65 showcases the best of the best, with a 4K display for exceptional colour fidelity, a glass touchpad for accurate control, and a fingerprint reader with Windows Hello for optimum security,” says Eric Kuo, NB BU President.

“It also has TPM 2.0 crypto-processor technology, a white backlit keyboard, Thunderbolt 3.0 compatibility, and can run for more than 9 hours while weighing only 4 pounds.”
