CES 2022: New Dell XPS 13 Plus Streamlines Design
Dell has revealed a new streamlined version of its popular XPS 13 ultraportable notebook, which it says is “inspired by Gen Z”.
The new model, XPS 13 Plus, features a streamlined design with a flush keyboard, a capacitive touch bar at the top that can switch between function and media keys, and a touchpad at the bottom with haptic touch responses to replace the traditional trackpad. Powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core processor, it includes fast charging that Dell says can bring the battery to 80 per cent charge in under an hour, and comes with OLED display up to 4K resolution.
According to Donnie Oliphant, Senior Director, XPS Product Marketing, Dell Technologies, the notebook offers a “complete, seamless experience”.
“Modern and stylish, yet approachable and efficient – simple and intentional are the new definition of premium. Redesigned from the ground up with more performance than ever before, the XPS 13 Plus makes it so you can do everything you love to do in style,” he said.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus will be available worldwide from autumn.
