CES 2017: Acer Confirm Commercial Launch For Predator 21 X

First shown late last year, Acer have announced that their mammoth Predator 21 X gaming laptop will be making it to market in early 2017.

Bursting with high-end components, Acer claim “the Predator 21 X is the de facto dream machine for ultimate gaming enthusiasts.”

It boasts the latest 7th Generation Intel® Core i7 processor, 5 cooling fans and dual NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI configuration.

This over-the-top quality even extends to the X’s 21-inch curved display, which offers up a 120Hz refresh rate and 2560 x 1080 pixels of resolution. It even incorporates the same eye-tracking technology from Tobii used in its Acer’s next generation gaming monitors.

Acer says that “taking PC gaming immersion to new depths, eye tracking lets gamers identify enemies, aim and take cover simply by gazing at objects on the screen in over 45 titles like Elite Dangerous, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and WATCH_DOGS 2.”

The Predator 21 X also features a new 3-way audio design that leverages the power of 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers to produce Hi-Fi quality sound.

Exact Australian pricing and availability has yet to be confirmed.
