Bowers & Wilkins Unveils Updated Wireless Headphones

Last year, Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) released a new pair of headphones, the Px7 S2 wireless noise-cancelling headphones, which retailed for under $600 AUD. The company have now updated them, calling the new pair Px7 S2e (the ‘e’ standing for “evolved”), which are set to retail for under $600 AUD.

Due to upgraded DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and new sound tuning, B&W are claiming it provides an even better listening experience.

This updated version also broadens colour choices by adding ‘Forest Green’ to the collection of Cloud Grey, Ocean Blue, and Anthracite Black.

Apart from these, there are no other changes. Size, weight, and design are all identical to the original headphones, and they use the same custom-designed 40mm drive units, Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive, as well as the same hybrid noise cancellation.

USB-C and 3.5mm cable connections are supported, and both cable types are included in the carry case.

The new updated model has the same slim shape, is lightweight, and has luxurious memory foam earpads, for comfortable long periods of use.

See below the key features:

  • 40mm dynamic full range bio-cellulose drive units
  • Battery life: 30 hours playback, 7 hours with a 15 min charge
  • Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive
  • Google Fast Pair, with automatic support for Google’s Find My Device
  • Wear-Detection Sensor
  • Hybrid Noise Cancellation
  • Ambient Pass-Through
  • 4x mics for ANC
  • 2x mics for telephony
  • USB-C charging & audio interface
  • Carrying case included with 1.2m USB-C to 3.5mm/USB-C cable
  • Weight: 307g (without carry case)
  • Dimensions: 189mm x 63mm x 233mm
  • Works with Bowers & Wilkins Music App

The new B&W Px7 S2e wireless noise-cancelling headphones are available now (in select regions) from bowerwilkins.com. Australian pricing and availability are still to come; however, the product should be at a similar cost to the original.
