Boost Mobile Secures 5 Year Telstra Deal

Youth-focused telco brand, Boost Mobile, has inked another five-year deal with Telstra, enabling the provider to continue using Telstra’s 4G Mobile Network.

Following Boost’s launch in 2000, the new deal follows a previous five year contract between Boost Mobile and Telstra.

The telco claims the partnership will enable it to retain a “key role in Telstra’s multi-brand strategy” going foward.

The news follows the launch of Boost Mobile’s new Anytime Plus pre-paid plans, which feature increased data and call inclusions – e.g. an additional 8GB of data on the $50 Boost Anytime Plus.

In a bid to cement its position within its target demographic, Boost Mobile’s marketing frequently features notable Australia athletes, sports stars and artists.

Boost Mobile Founder and Director, Peter Adderton, affirms the telco’s desire to be “immersed in youth culture” and has voiced his appreciation for Telstra’s support:

“Today’s announcement cements Boost Mobile as a core pillar of Telstra’s multi-brand strategy, and is recognition of our position as a brand that is immersed in youth culture”

“We are now a global, multi-billion dollar brand but never forget that it all started in Australia, which remains an important market of focus for us”

“Today’s news ensures we can continue to offer customers access to a network powered by Telstra, with our plans that address their specific needs, wants and desires. We appreciate the ongoing and ever-growing relationship we share with Telstra, and their desire to embrace and grow with Boost Mobile”.
