Sony PS Vita ‘Slim’ Hits OZ $269

Sony PS Vita The new Sony PS Vita Slim went on sale in Australia today, as it takes handheld gaming to the next level. 

The new console will cost $269.95 and comes with a 1GB memory card.  
The release of a slimmer Vita comes as it emerges Sony will discontinue its predecessor, the PSP, in Japan.  
The slimmer Vita is 20% thinner, lighter, and Sony has replaced the original’s OLED with an LCD screen, giving it better battery life and it now includes a non proprietary micro USB port.
