Belkin Adds Range Of Smart LED Cables
Consumer electronics company Belkin has unveiled its new Boost Charge Smart Cable range made for iPhones.
The cable range uses a custom circuit board with proprietary firmware to communicate with the iPhone’s battery, which displays an amber light when charging and a greenlight when the device is at 100%.
Among Belkin’s new range is the Boost Charge Smart USB-A Cable with Lightning Connector and Boost Charge Smart USBC-C Cable with Lightning Connector.
The chargers are compatible with iPhones and are MFi-certified, featuring a universally compatible USB-A connector.
Users can charge up to 12W using a wall or car charger and iPhone 8 models and later can charge from 0-50 per cent battery in just 30 minutes when using a Smart LED cable with a PD-enabled USB-C charger.
All cables are manufactured with a durable aircraft-grade aluminium overmold and a double-braided nylon exterior.
The Boost Charge Smart Cable range comes in three classic colours: black, silver and grey.
