Asus has unveiled the newest entry in its ROG Phone line for gamers, the ROG Phone 5, as well as a new range of gaming headphones and accessories.
The ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate are built for mobile gaming from the ground up. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform, it features a 144Hz/1ms Samsung AMOLED HDR10+ certified display; a GameCool 5 cooling system; and a massive 6000mAh battery.
Additionally, the Pro and Ultimate models add the rear matrix ROG Vision display, which shows animations reflecting their status. The new model cements ROG Phone as the world’s most advanced gaming smartphone, said Asus co-CEO, S.Y. Hsu.
“The ROG Phone 5 series is the ultimate gaming smartphone for the best mobile gaming experience.
“It continues the legacy of ROG Phones as the leading gaming smartphones with exceptional performance, displays, audio, control and battery life,” he said.
Alongside the ROG Phone 5, Asus has also launched new gaming headsets and headphones, including the Strix Go BT Bluetooth headset with active noise cancellation, and the Cetra II and Cetra II Core gaming headphones. Modular accessories include the Kunai 3 Gamepad and ROG Lighting Armor Case.
