ASUS has announced the Australian availability of its ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, the world’s first 8K HDR mini LED professional monitor, set to hit stores by the end of October.

Designed for creative professionals, the 32-inch monitor features 4032-zone local dimming, 1200 nits peak brightness, and 1000 nits sustained brightness, promising ultra-sharp, high-contrast visuals.

The 8K (7680 x 4320) display delivers 275 pixels per inch, more than double a standard 4K panel, providing exceptional clarity for detailed design and video editing work.

The PA32KCX supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Hybrid Log-Gamma, and covers 95% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, and 100% sRGB colour spaces.

Its true 10-bit panel displays over 1.07 billion colours, while factory pre-calibration and a built-in motorised colorimeter ensure professional-grade colour accuracy with a Delta E<1 rating.

Users can also leverage ASUS ProArt Calibration software, along with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS for advanced hardware calibration.

ASUS has streamlined creative workflows with dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, and HDMI 2.1, including 96W power delivery via one Thunderbolt port and the ability to daisy-chain multiple displays.

A built-in Auto KVM function allows users to switch seamlessly between two connected devices using a single keyboard and mouse.

The monitor also includes ambient and proximity sensors to adjust brightness automatically, along with Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes for multi-source monitoring.

Its ergonomic stand supports tilt, swivel, pivot, height adjustment, and quick VESA mounting, with a wraparound hood to reduce glare.

To further support creative professionals, ASUS is offering a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with every PA32KCX purchase in select regions, covering tools like Adobe Substance 3D and Acrobat.
