ASUS Bringing ZenWatch 3 To IFA

Recent FCC filings revealed the design of the company’s new smartwatch – which will feature a round-design and be called the ZenWatch 3.

It’s a significant redesign for the brand, whose previous efforts have utilized square-shaped displays. A software redesign based around the new layout is also expected.

No other specs or details for the smartwatch have been revealed as of yet but additional details are expected to follow at the IFA conference in Berlin.

The ZenWatch 2 was part of ASUS’ showcase at the 2015 event and launched globally the following month. It’s expected that the company will take the same approach with the ZenWatch 3.

New iterations of the Zenfone series are also expected to appear as part of the company’s lineup.

IFA 2016 is set to take place in Berlin from the 2nd to the 9th of September.

ASUS is set to hold a press conference ahead of the trade show itself on the 31st of August.
