Apple will be hosting an event in Chicago on March 27 with the company tipped to release new products including an iPad and Apple Pencil.
Reports say the new iPad will have iPhone X features such as Face ID, no home button and slimmer bezels.
Apple has been sending out invitations to members of the press showing an Apple drawn in calligraphy with the text underneath reading, ‘lets take a field trip’.
At the bottom of the invite it reads, ‘Join us to here creative new ideas for teachers and students’ suggesting there will be an education element to the event.
Invitations were sent out last Friday, as seen below.

The most recent iPad launch was at last years at WWDC in June with the unveiling of the iPad Pro.
