All Vic Retail Workers Must Be Vaccinated

All Victorian retail workers will need to be fully vaccinated before summer in order to work throughout the Christmas rush, with at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine required before October 15 to keep working.

The workers will need to have had both vaccine doses by November 26.

These requirements are for “retail goods workers supporting the operation of click and collect or click and deliver orders”, according to the Vic Health website.

“These measures are not about stopping people going to work,” Premier Dan Andrews said.

“They are about making sure we can open up. They are about making sure people can go to work, that they can be safe, and that we can defend and deliver our roadmap for opening.”
