ALDI Ramp Up Hardware Attack On Bunnings

German supermarket giant, ALDI, has ramped up its hardware onslaught with a DIY-focused ‘Special Buys’ sale on Saturday, June 8.

Featured products include a 216mm Sliding Mitre Saw 1700 Twin Speed ($129), 900W Biscuit Joiner ($79.99), 20V Air Pump Skin ($39.99), 20V Brushless Drill Skin with Touch Sensor ($49.99) and more.

The 20V Brushless Drill Skin with Touch Sensor Technology accompanies a five year warranty, with battery and charger sold separately.

Other hardware accessories include a LED Auto Worklight ($19.99), assorted drill bits ($5.99/11 pc set), a ladder stability sensor ($39.99), 20m cable reel ($49.99) and 20V 4.0Ah battery ($39.99).

Also available is a 20V/240V Digital Jobsite Radio with rubber bumpers for 360-degree protection – accompanying a 5 year warranty.

The product can play AM/FM radio, with an aux-in port and Bluetooth connection also.

ALDI will also release several ‘home cooking’ appliances on June 8 including a 25L microwave oven with grill and convection ($159), stainless steel food warming tray ($69.99), electric knife sharpener ($14.99), 34L rotisserie oven ($79.99), stainless steel digital breadmaker ($99.99) and 3-in-1 slow cooker ($69.99).
