Alcatel One Touch Gets A New Name

As exclusively tipped by ChannelNews Alcatel One Touch the third biggest mobile supplier in Australia has changed its name to simply Alcatel.

Last year Alcatel One Touch now called Alcatel, moved into third place in the local handset market (by volume), and have undertaken a significant amount of local marketing and sponsorship activities to further build awareness.
 
This activity will increase again in 2016 with the launch of new IDOL 4 and GoPlay ranges.
 
The Chinese Company that is owned by TCL, is also increasing its engagement with millennials, who management claim is uncompromising in what they expect from brands in their everyday lives.
 
Alcatel is set to offer new smartphone features and technology into these markets.

 
Aimed at university students, young adults, young professionals and young parents, the brand’s new line-up being launched a Mobile World Congress offers an array of choices targeting these markets, including customisable covers, DJ mix software, amped-up audio systems and the innovative virtual reality experience.
