Ahead Of Apple Launch, Watch Ultra 2 Tipped For Significant Performance Upgrade
Proceeding next month’s annual fall event for Apple, the rumour mill has been working overtime with the potential updates the tech leader will unveil during the launch of the newest iPhone 15 series.
In his latest newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman zeroed in on the Apple Watch Series 9 and claimed that Apple would launch three smartwatches this year inclusive of 41mm and 45mm modifications of the Apple Watch Series 9. The third release is the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra.
Watch SE fans, however, will need to wait a year as there will not be a release next month. Like past SE releases since 2020, a new model is introduced every two years, which is likely to continue.
The performance of the three upcoming Apple Watch models will be at the centre of all updates.
Per Gurman, the watches will be powered by the new S9 processor, which should alter the watch’s performance significantly contrasting with the last Watch Series 8 series.
Beyond the Apple Watch Series, iPad Pros, and MacBooks will also be revealed during the event.
