Small And Light: New GoPro Cube Is A One Click Job
The Hero4 Session captures 1080p60, 720p100 and 1440p30 fps video, along with eight MP photos in single, burst and time-lapse modes, and shares a number of features with its larger family members, including SuperView, Protune and Auto Low Light recording modes.
One button control is designed for ease of use, speed and convenience in capturing moments as they happen, while the Hero4 Session is waterproof up to 10 metres.
GoPro states the Hero4 Session’s dual microphone system dynamically switches sound recording between microphones to reduce wind noise during activities, while audio performance during water-based activities has been “dramatically improved” thanks to a waterproof design, eliminating the need for a separate water-housing.
“At GoPro, sound quality is as important as image quality and we’re very excited about the stunning audio advancements we’ve made with Hero4 Session during water-based and windy activities,” Nicholas Woodman, GoPro founder and CEO, commented. “It’s incredible what this little GoPro can capture.”
The Hero4 Session features a sleek frame mounting system compatible with GoPro’s array of mounts, while built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is designed to provide easy connectivity to the GoPro app and Smart Remote.
The Hero4 Session, which will be available from July 12, carries a price tag of $579.95.
