Dropbox Attracts Business
Dropbox added 50,000 paying business customers in the last 10 months including News Corp. and Expedia. The company also announced a new product, Dropbox Enterprise, targeted at large customers.
Dropbox is bolstering efforts to woo more users amid growing competition in a crowded market that, according to research firm IDC, is projected to reach almost $2 billion this year.
IDC ranks Dropbox at No. 1 in the sector with a 24 percent share, followed by Microsoft at 19 percent with Box, Apple and Google rounding out the top five.
