Thodey Banks A Cool $14 Million
This included $7.5 million in long-term incentives, fixed remuneration of $2.65 million and short-term incentives of $4.3 million.
His replacement Andy Penn, who was previously CFO, scored $4.08 million.
Observers have noted that during Thodey’s tenure, Telstra shares have more than doubled to hit 13-year highs.
Thodey is now chairman of the CSIRO research group’s board (CDN, Aug. 7) where his remuneration will be rather less: the position carries an annual payment of $108.000 – but presumably some other directorships may beckon.
