Content Partnership: Stan Is Going Mobile With Vodafone
The partnership builds on similar content arrangements Vodafone already has in place with Spotify and Fairfax Media.
Vodafone chief executive officer Inaki Berroeta noted a “significant increase in customers watching video content on their mobile devices”. “With Stan they can get unlimited access to the content they want, when and where they want,” Berroeta commented. “Our other content partnerships, such as Spotify and Fairfax offered on Red plans, are really appealing to customers. Stan is a great complement to these and a great fit for our brand.” Vodafone has also today announced Vodafone Shared, allowing customers to bundle services including calls, text messages and data under one account, shared across up to 10 devices.Arriving next month, the Shared plans will be available to Vodafone Red plan customers, starting from the $50 month-to-month 12 or 24-month Red plan. The Shared plans start at $30 a month, while data-only plans start at $10 a month, with no fee to activate sharing. Loo Fun Chee, Vodafone chief marketing officer, noted the benefits the plans can provide for Australian households. “Vodafone Shared delivers simple and straightforward value for households with smartphones and tablets,” Chee commented. “As everything included is shareable, families can take full advantage to ensure you are getting maximum use of all your inclusions.” |
