HTC Unveils Desire 826 With UltraPixel Front Camera

HTC Unveils Desire 826 With UltraPixel Front CameraHTC states it has brought its HTC UltraPixel camera to the front of a phone for the first time, helping users “take stunning self-portraits in any light condition”, which, along with a 13 MP rear camera, is complemented by HTC’s EYE Experience software.

Functionality such as Auto and Voice Selfie allows users to take photos and shoot video without touching a button.

Sporting a 5.5″ full-HD 1080p display and dual front-facing stereo speakers, the Desire 826 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 1.7 GHz 64-bit processor and runs on Android Lollipop with HTC Sense.

The Desire 826’s soft-touch matte sides are designed to make the phone comfortable and easy to grip, while subtle speaker grills “disappear into the design to maintain the phone’s clean lines for an unrivalled audio experience that enhances the look of the device”.

HTC states the Desire 826 will be available with mobile operators and major retailers in the Asia Pacific at the end of January.
