New Panasonic Air Conditioners Cool Faster
Panasonic states iAuto-X technology provides for 15 per cent faster cooling than previous Panasonic models, with a new compressor and fan design, while “Aerowings” blades control airflow provides Shower Cooling, directing cool air across the ceiling “to shower down naturally, spreading over a wider area of a room, and minimising any uncomfortable direct airflow chill”.
The new units, which sport a “stylishly clean, slimline look”, additionally incorporate ECONAVI technology, which uses human activity, sunlight and temperature sensors to “intelligently adapt the heating and cooling power according to the room conditions”.
Panasonic states it has made design enhancements to offer improved energy star ratings for most models in the new range.
Meanwhile, Panasonic states its nanoe-G feature “provides the ultimate peace of mind”.
“Nanoe-G eliminates micro-organisms – removing 99 per cent of airborne bacteria, viruses and mould,” Panasonic states. “It also catches and deactivates 99 per cent of bacteria and viruses on surfaces and in the filter, resulting in a cleaner and healthier home.
“The air purifying feature works hand in hand with the Mild Dry Cooling function, which reduces unwanted side effects of air conditioning, such as dry skin and mouths, by maintaining the level of air moisture in the room.”
Panasonic’s ECONAVI range provides up to 9.0 kW heating and 8.0 kW cooling, with heating designed to operate when -15 degrees Celsius outside, with cooling effective up to 46 degrees Celsius.
Panasonic has additionally launched five new cooling-only models.
