$299 ALDI Dishwasher Snares 4 & 1/2 Star Water Rating

Set to further intensify competition in the kitchen appliance market, ALDI has unveiled a suite of new machines for its July 4th Special Buys Sale – including a $299 dishwasher with a four and a half star water rating.

The Stirling dishwasher features 12 “place settings”, 6 “wash programs”, and comes with a 3-year “in home warranty”.

The dishwasher has been awarded a three star energy rating, and a four and a half star water rating.

Weighing 45 kilograms, the appliance measures 845(H) x 600(W) x 600(D)mm.

ALDI’s July 4th Special Buys sale includes several other affordable kitchen gadgets – e.g. a $7.49 sandwich maker and 2 slice toaster, plus a $34.99 stand mixer and $19.99 3L slow cooker.

The majority of products accompany a one year warranty, thereby competing with items from the likes of Big W and Kmart.

Like all ALDI Special Buys sales, consumers are advised to get in quick, with the German supermarket often criticised for adequate supply.
