Galaxy Z TriFold to Headline Samsung’s First Look Event in Las Vegas
Samsung’s newly announced Galaxy Z TriFold will take pride of place at the company’s “First Look” event, to be held ahead of the annual Consumer Electronics Show in January.
The Galaxy Z TriFold was announced this week in South Korea. It features a 10-inch display, measures 12.9 mm thick when folded, weighs 309 grams, and the 16GB, 512GB model will sell for US$2440 ($3709). The event could provide details of global availability after its initial launch.
The First Look Event is scheduled for January 4 and will begin with a keynote by CEO TM Roh, Gizmochina reports.
The publication says Samsung intends to reveal the direction of its Device Experience (DX) division at the event, due to be staged at the Wynn Las Vegas.
Samsung says senior executives from its Visual Display and Digital Appliance divisions will take the stage.
The event will be streamed live on Samsung TV Plus, the company’s YouTube channel and on Samsung’s newsroom platform.
Samsung this year is expected also to showcase new TV technologies, new smart home appliances, upgrades to its connected ecosystem, and further AI integration.
The company might drop early details of its Galaxy S26 lineup, due to launch a month later.
