125 Apple iPhones Stolen

An iPhone reseller has been robbed of 125 iPhones, as mass shortages this Christmas make the smartphone akin to contraband.

An unnamed 27 year-old man purchased roughly 300 iPhone 13 unit from a 24-hour Apple Store on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, at 1.45am.

As he carried three large bags containing the phones to his car, another car pulled up alongside his and demanded the bags.

Upon refusal, the muggers punched the man in the phone and took off with one bag, containing approximating A$140,000 worth of iPhones.

According to the NYPD, the man regularly bought large quantities of iPhones from the Apple Store to resell in his own store.

It is unknown whether the robbery was captured on CCTV cameras.
