Finally Panasonic TV’s Get Netflix Tick Of Approval

Finally Panasonic TV

Earlier this year Panasonic and Samsung were missing from the list of certified TV manufacturers whose TV’s were tuned to deliver improved streaming of Netflix.

This label that can now be used by Panasonic indicates the TV has undergone an evaluation program and meets specific criteria.

It will shortly start appearing on on nine Panasonic 4K Ultra HD TVs in the CX850, CX800, CX650 and CX600 series, with screen sizes ranging from 50 to 65 inches.

Criteria include instant-on capability to display apps as soon as the TV is turned on; a dedicated Netflix button on the TV’s remote; the latest version of Netflix; fast app launch and resume; and fast playback start.

Other participants currently carrying the designation include TCL, LG, Sony and Sharp, who have recently discontinued their TV range in Australia.

Ironically Australia’s largest TV manufacturer Samsung is still missing from the list.
