Dell has used Computex 2026 to unveil a new line-up of Alienware gaming monitors, led by what it claims is the world’s first 39-inch 5K OLED display with RGB-stripe technology.

The flagship Alienware AW3926QW features a 39-inch curved OLED panel with a 5120 x 2160 resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio and a 165Hz refresh rate at full resolution. For competitive gaming, the monitor can switch to 2560 x 1080 at up to 330Hz.

The display uses LG Display’s latest RGB Stripe Tandem OLED panel, which is designed to improve text clarity, colour performance and brightness compared with earlier OLED monitor designs. Dell claims peak HDR brightness of 1,300 nits and typical fullscreen brightness of 300 nits.

Also announced is the Alienware AW3426DW, a 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED gaming monitor using Samsung Display’s new Penta Tandem panel technology. It offers a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 280Hz refresh rate, 1800R curve and the same claimed 1,300-nit peak HDR brightness.

Both OLED models support Dolby Vision, HDR10, Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500. Dell is also offering a three-year warranty that includes burn-in cover.

Connectivity on the 39-inch model includes DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C with up to 90W power delivery, while the 34-inch model includes HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4.

Dell also revealed two more affordable Alienware VA gaming monitors, the 32-inch AW3226DM and 34-inch AW3426DWM, both with 240Hz refresh rates.

The AW3426DW and VA models are due in July, while the AW3926QW is expected later this year. Australian pricing and availability have not been confirmed.
