iPad 4 Gets More Grunt

iPad 4 Gets More Grunt Pricing starts from A$449 for the 9.7″ iPad 4 with Retina display (WiFi), which is now the cheapest larger screen iPad, replacing iPad 2.

The 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G/4G costs A$598.

The relauched iPad 4 also has better 5mp camera with Full HD 1080p video, FaceTime HD camera, and A6X chip (dual-core with quad-core graphics).
“Now for $449 customers can get iPad with a stunning 9.7-inch Retina display, fast A6X chip, and 5MP iSight camera, offering a dramatic upgrade in power, performance and value compared to the iPad 2 it replaces,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
However, it still has just a 16GB storage option, if you want 32GB or above you’ll have to opt for the iPad Air. iPad 4 has other new features, improved Multitasking, AirDrop, enhanced Photos, Safari, Siri and iTunes Radio, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
“The iPad line sets the gold-standard in mobile computing and all iPads have access to the largest and best ecosystem of more than 500,000 iPad optimized apps from the App Store,” says Schiller.
iPad 4 was first released in 2012.
