Cardless ATM: Withdraw Money WITHOUT A Card

Cardless ATM: Withdraw Money WITHOUT A Card ‘Cardless Cash’ and ‘Lock and Limit’ are good to go on CommBank’s app, from today.

Australia’s first cardless ATM service, enables Commonwealth Bank customers to withdraw up to $200 a day without a card, at all 3,000 CBA ATMs nationwide.
This is handy if you forget your card or want to help a mate stranded without cash.
Just scroll on the CommBank app to find the nearest ATM, select one, and you are sent an 8 digit code and a pin number which you enter at the cash point. There’s now a cardless cash select button at every Comm Bank ATM.
This is a step further towards the cashless society many soon believe we will be living in, and a further boost to the mobile wallet.
CommBank app’s new Lock and Limit feature allows customers to control spending on their card.
Consumers can block ATM transactions, set transaction limits and block international transactions, ensuring hackers never get access to accounts.
It brings the notion of the mobile wallet further, says CBA’s Angus Sullivan, Executive General Manager Cards.
The new CommBank app is available on iPhone and Android platforms.
There have been more than 2.3 million registrations since its launch last year.
