World’s #1 DJ David Guetta Turns To New Loewe Premium Leo Headphones
Loewe has scored a major coup, enlisting world-renowned DJ David Guetta to promote its new high-end headphones.
Pierre David Guetta, the French DJ and record producer, has sold over 10 million albums and 65 million singles worldwide, amassing more than 30 billion streams on Spotify. In Australia, Guetta has a huge fanbase and has been named the world’s top DJ multiple times in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, most recently in 2025, as well as 2011, 2020, 2021, and 2023.
Loewe recently entered the competitive premium headphone market with its new wireless over-ear model, the Loewe Leo. Marketed as a “standalone hi-fi audio solution,” the Leo aims to rival established brands like Apple, Bowers & Wilkins, Bose, Sony, Audeze, and Focal.
The headphones feature 50mm drivers with a diaphragm made from Olefin Composite Elastomer (OCE), a lightweight yet durable material Loewe claims delivers “superior sound” with clear vocals, detailed highs, and smooth, controlled bass. High-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz is supported via the LC3+ codec, ensuring crisp, detailed playback.
Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation automatically adjusts to surrounding sound conditions, while battery life reaches up to 65 hours with ANC turned off. Users can also fine-tune their listening experience using the Mimi Sound Personalisation test through the Loewe app.
Other features include Bluetooth LE Audio, spatial audio powered by Dolby Atmos, multipoint connectivity, and an AI-driven live translation function—a direct competitor to Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 live translation.
The Leo headphones offer a mix of physical controls, a tactile rotary wheel around the earcup, and a USB-C port. Included in the box are both USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to 3.5mm audio cables, potentially enabling lossless wired listening (confirmation from Loewe is pending).
Available in Midnight Blue or Moonlight Beige, the Loewe Leo headphones are priced above $2,200, positioning them firmly in the luxury audio segment.
