Wireworld Launches High-End HDMI Cables For Australian Market

Wireworld has released its Sphere HDMI cables for the Australian market.

The cables, incorporating Wireworld’s HD-Bridge technology is available in a range of lengths up to 30 metres.

Wireworld Sphere HDMI cables use an advanced cable design known as Uni-Path that reduces crosstalk and attenuation, the company said in its announcement.

The cables also support all HDMI 2.0 features, including 4K/60, deep colour and HDR. They also come with four discrete 12Gbps channels, while the HD-Bridge bandwidth extends beyond 48Gbps.

Sphere active cables are compatible with all HDMI revisions from v1.0 to v2.0. The HD-Bridge is powered by an external USB communication at the TV, while the module requires less than 0.2A, so it can be powered by standard USB sockets and transformers.

The HD-Bridge module contains three discrete power supplies for digital video, bias voltage and DDC to improve resolution, Wireworld added.

Wireworld cables are available now from selected retailers and through its Australian distributor Canohm. Pricing starts at $89 for the WWSPH0.6m 0.6m in length up to $1,999 for the WWSPH30.0m 30.0m in length.
