Another Apple Retail Exec Quits
Jerry McDougal, Apple’s vice president of Retail, has left the company.

McDougal departed company with his employer earlier this month.

He will be replaced by Jim Bean, Apple’s former VP of Finance.

“His departure was explained as not work-related, but rather so he could spend more time with his family,” reports ifo Apple Store.

The news comes in the wake of two high profile executive departures from Apple, of late.

Ex-Dixons boss, John Browett, was handpicked to run Apple’s retail operation but left the role of Senior VP Retail after being in the job only some months, as did Scott Forstall, the man in charge of the iOS mobile software division, after the Apple Maps fiasco.

McDougal had been tipped to replace Browett in the role of SVP Retail.
