 He already has another former Telstra exec on hand to help with the review: Telstra Digital Media’s former executive director JB Rousselot.
Milne was in charge of Telstra Media and BigPond until 2010 and is now a non-executive director of Tabcorp and chairman of Sydney-based telecoms equipment maker NetComm Wireless.
He is also a former CEO of ISP OzEmail, the company once chaired by current Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who helped sell it to Worldcom of the US for a reported $520 million.
After Worldcom went broke, the OzEmail assets were eventually sold to Michael Malone’s Perth-based iiNet for a reported $110 million.
