Tag Heuer and New Balance Team Up on $3,050 Luxury Running Smartwatch
Tag Heuer has unveiled the Connected Calibre E5, a luxury smartwatch developed in partnership with sneaker maker New Balance, featuring a sporty design and dedicated running features.
The standout New Balance Edition features a bright purple and green colour scheme with a Grade 2 titanium exterior.
The watch ships with a flexible strap inspired by New Balance sneakers and promises outdoor-readable screens with full iOS compatibility.
The Connected Calibre E5 includes dual-band GPS, a Snapdragon 5100+ chip, and an AMOLED display.
Battery life extends to a day and a half per charge, with the ability to fully charge from empty in 90 minutes.

Health and fitness tracking includes a heart rate monitor, step counter, blood oxygen saturation monitor, and sleep tracker among other sensors.
The smartwatch runs on a new, untested operating system and comes preloaded with New Balance training plans for marathons and 10K races.
The companies promise “gamified prompts” and post-run data visualisations.
The New Balance Edition is priced at $3,050.
Tag Heuer is also offering the Connected Calibre E5 in various case materials and strap combinations, with some configurations starting at $2,500.
The pricing aligns with Tag Heuer’s luxury positioning, though the untested operating system may give potential buyers pause compared to established smartwatch platforms.
