Swann Delivers “Superior” Door Bell System And 4K Outdoor
Melbourne based security Company Swann Communications who are a major player in the US market have rolled out several new security products at CES, including a doorbell that overcome some of the failing of competitors such as Ring and Netgear.
The new technology will also deliver voice recognition capability so that owners of their new door can simply ask Google “Who is at the front door”. It also supports Amazon’s Alexa.
The new doorbell that will retail for $349 with a Chime or $229 without looks and feels superior to the Ring offering.
“It is” claims Swann Marketing Director Jeremy Stewart.
“We have been able to look at our competitors indoor and outdoor cameras as well as various door bell security offerings prior to finalising our own offering. This has allowed to deliver improved Wi Fi connectivity that cannot be accessed for example by a signal jammer. We have better connectivity options as well the ability that if the power gets cut we can continue to record”.
The Company has also deliver a new 4K external camera system that delivered crystal clear 4K images when ChannelNews saw a demonstration at CES.
Travis Bedford, VP APAC at Swann said that he was confident that because of Swann’s background in developing communication systems the Company was in a better position to deliver “superior” security technology.
Unlike the Netgear Arlo system the new Swann external camera system does not require a base station set up claims Bedford.
