Swann Celebrates 30 Years
Global security solutions vendor Swann has celebrated its 30th birthday, highlighting consistent growth of 10% over the last ten years.
According to Swann’s VP of Global Marketing Jeremy Stewart, “this growth is a testament to our unique selling proposition and reflects the demand we’re experiencing from home and business owners, who want control of their safety and security.”
The company, whose “humble beginning” began in the basement of founder David Swann’s family home in Melbourne, began its business with a focus on modems before shifting its focus to security gear in 1999
Today, the security provider has offices in Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Hong Kong and China with approximately 120 staff members globally. It has a presence in over 40 countries and its products are sold in leading retailers like JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Bunnings Warehouse, Costco, Officeworks and more.
“We’re extremely proud of the work we’ve done to make communities safer. Millions of homes and business have benefited from our electronics and security solutions since 1987, and it’s our ongoing priority to ensure that the latest security technology is accessible, affordable and easy to use with do-it-yourself installation,” Stewart says.
Going forward, he says “we will continue to focus on product innovation and drive a higher level of product design.”
