Sub $1,000 Ecovacs Robotic Vac Seriously Cleans Up

Ecovacs Robotics has launched a sub $1,000 robotic vacuum cleaner that is rich in features and new capabilities such as mopping, it comes as Chinese brand Roborock run by former Huawei executives try to take market share away from the market leader.

The Deebot N10 PLUS robotic vacuum and mopping cleaner has been described by retailers as a “game changer” due to the number of features built into the device for the price.

The most affordable robot in the Ecovacs line-up, the new vac is ideal for apartments and holiday homes due to its sophisticated cleaning system with Ozmo Mopping technology that simultaneously sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors for efficient cleaning.

The strong suction power coupled with the 4300Pa, advanced TrueMapping navigation technology, allows the device to operate for up to five hours and auto empty into the attached station that holds up to 60 days of dust. Ecovacs has also introduced a new antibacterial filter to the attached station.

The Company that has been around for 25 years estimates that existing products already in Australian homes are already saving more than three million hours a year in cleaning time, with Deebot vacs covering enough ground annually to clean the playing surface of the Melbourne Cricket Ground more than 2,300 times. *

Karen Powell, Regional Director of Australia, and New Zealand for Ecovacs Robotics believes that the new addition to the Ecovacs Robotics family of vacuum cleaners will grow market share for the business in Australia.

“We are constantly challenging ourselves, be it through innovation or value, and the DEEBOT N10 PLUS combines both by delivering an uncompromising clean with these carefully curated features never seen before for this price.” she said.

With an upgraded large battery capacity of 5200mAh, the Deebot N10 PLUS can clean up to 5 hours on a single charge.

When low on battery, it will know to return to its auto-empty station for recharge before returning to its cleaning route and resuming its clean.

Also built in is TrueMapping laser-based mapping and navigation technology, which can map floors within minutes and create systematic cleaning paths.

It can intelligently navigate around the home and find the most optimal cleaning path, thanks to its dToF (Direct Time Of Flight) sensors that allows for 360° scans to be performed with Aerospace-Standard accuracy. Cleaning paths, modes and schedules can further be customised via the compatible Ecovacs Home app.

Pricing and Availability
The DEEBOT N10 PLUS is available now at Bing Lee, Godfreys, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, and The Good Guys for RRP $999.
