Spacetalk Boosts MGM Wireless

SYDNEY: Technology company MGM Wireless is taking on the niche children’s market through its Spacetalk smartphone.

The device boosted MGM’s total revenue growth of 47 percent to $10.5 million for 2020.

Spacetalk is an all-in-one smartphone that incorporates a watch and GPS device.

It may be pitched to kids, but CDN knows a few adults that might also benefit from Spacetalk.

MGM said the revenue growth was driven by the coronavirus pandemic, which saw a sharp rise in January.

Mark Fortunatow, MGM CEO and co-founder, said the company’s monthly subscription-based AllMyTribe app also performed strongly throughout FY2020, growing annual revenue by 89 percent to $1.5 million, with a three-year compound annual growth rate of 398 percent.
