Secret Samsung Laptop May Merge ChromeOS & DeX

Reports of Samsung developing an Exynos-powered hybrid laptop have come into play, combining the DeX and ChromeOS interfaces.

There are rumours of Samsung working on a Chromebook laptop included with an integrated DeX interface. There are sparse details so far, however, the laptop is expected to be utilising Exynos SoCs based on 5nm or 7nm nodes.

DeX is Samsung’s proprietary software, allowing users to be able to connect Galaxy smartphones to monitors or TVs, and has brought that interface to Windows and iOS, using a USB cable and an installed app.
