Samsung Unveils World’s First Micro RGB TV
Samsung Electronics has launched the world’s first Micro RGB TV, setting a new standard for ultra-premium television technology.
Debuting in Korea, the 115-inch Micro RGB display features micro-scale red, green and blue LEDs – each smaller than 100 micrometers – arranged behind the panel for unprecedented color accuracy and contrast.
Unlike conventional LED backlights, Samsung’s Micro RGB technology allows for precise, individual control of each tiny RGB LED – resulting in a more vivid and lifelike picture.
Samsung’s Micro RGB TV is powered by Samsung’s Micro RGB AI engine, which analyses every frame in real time to optimise picture and sound quality automatically.
The TV features the Micro RGB Color Booster Pro, an AI tool that enhances dull scenes for richer, more immersive viewing.

The display covers 100% of the BT.2020 color space standard and has earned certification from Germany’s VDE institute for precision color accuracy.
Additionally, Glare Free technology reduces reflections, making the screen easier to view even in bright rooms.
The TV also integrates Vision AI for smarter picture and sound adjustments, a more conversational Bixby voice assistant powered by generative AI, and is secured with Samsung Knox for enhanced user data protection.
After its Korean debut, Samsung plans to roll out the Micro RGB globally, starting with the U.S., offering various sizes.
“Micro RGB achieves unprecedented precision in the control of micrometer-sized RGB LEDs, raising the bar for color accuracy and contrast in consumer displays,” said Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display R&D team. “We’re setting the standard in the large-sized, ultra-premium TV market and reinforcing our commitment to next-generation display innovation.”
