Samsung QLED And UHD Hospitality TV Series Revealed

Samsung will unveil its latest displays optimised for the hospitality industry – the HRQ750 and HRU750 Series – at HITEC 2019 in the Minneapolis Convention Centre from June 18-19.

Samsung’s booth will include the latest QLED and UHD hospitality televisions, indoor and outdoor digital signage and updated interfaces and content management systems.

“Samsung’s portfolio of hospitality solutions demonstrates our understanding of the correlation between guest use patterns and the technical requirements of our commercial hospitality offerings,” said Jonas Tanenbaum, vice-president of Samsung’s Hospitality TV Division.

“With the new HRQ750 Series, equipped with QLED technology, Samsung brings an unparalleled viewing experience to the hotel guest room for the first time.

“The HRQ750 Series demonstrates Samsung’s dedication to constantly enhancing technology used by hotels to create a more premium, luxury stay for guests.”

The HRQ750 hospitality television series leverages Quantum Dot Technology to display true-to-life colours and rich images.

According to Samsung, guests will easily view even the finest details with Direct Full Array 4K for improved viewing.

With ambient mode, the HRQ750 Series will enhance any room, even when the screen is turned off.

When the display is not active, users can select from décor, information or artwork settings to shift between interactive and colourful backgrounds, a range of beautiful pieces and details such as the time and date.

The new HRU750 display features UHD upscaling technology HDR10+ picture refinement, all in a slim, modern design.

All Samsung HRU750 hospitality displays also provide an intuitive customisable home application and Samsung’s Smart Hub offers guests easy access to a variety of custom content.

Samsung SMART displays also allow users to control lighting, drapes and temperature settings in guest rooms utilising the HMS system.

In addition, Samsung’s HMS solution gives hotel operators insights into occupancy and energy usage.

The HRQ750 and HRU750 are slated to launch globally later this year.
