The new headset will connect with the Note7 via a USB-C port, which can be swapped out for a Micro-USB one to enable use with older devices.
Samsung are promising a more ergonomic and elegant smartphone VR experience.
They’re promising major improvements when it comes to field of view, image smoothness, light leakage and reflection prevention.
The touchpad has also undergone some changes, leaving it flatter in design but more precise in practice.
“Virtual reality is changing the way we understand and interact with the world,” Suzanne De Silva said during the event.
