Samsung Move Galaxy S22 Release Date Forward

Reports state that Samsung are planning to release the Galaxy S22 around the time of January’s Mobile World Congress, moving the release date up from March.

If true, this move would mirror this year’s Galaxy S21 launch, which was also moved to January.

The company is planning a mass production ramp-up in November, with the major update between the S21 and S22 likely to be the inclusion of the S21 Ultra’s zoom camera in all S22 models.

Samsung is also still planning the long-rumoured Galaxy S21 Fan Editon, although its production has been continuously delayed by the chip shortages.

Production for the S21 FE will begin this month, with a target of 10 million units.
