Samsung Gear Fit2 Lands In Oz Priced At $289 RRP

Samsung’s Gear Fit2 fitness band has landed in the Australian market, priced at $289 RRP.

The Gear Fit2 sports a slim and lightweight build, with a curved touch 1.5” Super AMOLED display, delivering a number of tracking and connected features.

samsung2Standalone GPS provides for accurate tracking, with the Fit2 also decked out with a heart rate monitor, auto activity tracking and sleep monitoring.

IP68 certified dust and water resistant, the Fit2 can also keep track of steps and floors climbed, as well as calculating calories burned based on activity levels.

It can be connected to a compatible smartphone, providing notifications for incoming calls, alarms, schedule, missed calls, social media and email.

The Fit2 partners with S Health, Samsung’s built-in health and fitness app, while third party app compatibility includes Strava, Runkeeper, Spotify, Skimble and Golf NAVI.

A built-in music player provides for users to store up to 2.1 GB of music.

Available in black, pink and blue, the Fit2 is available now from selected retailers.
