Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Lands in Australia

Following its global launch in New York earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now available for Australian consumers to try.

From today, the flagship device will be available in Australia across three Samsung Experience Stores and twenty four Samsung Studio locations, plus in selected retail and partner locations later this week.

Director of IT and Mobile for Samsung Australia, Garry McGregor, states the device will go on sale to Australian consumers on the 22nd of September:

“We are thrilled to give our Australian customers early access to experience the Galaxy Note8 in advance of on-sale on 22 September. It’s not until people have the device in-hand that they feel the difference with the Galaxy Note8 and understand why the Note range has such a strong and passionate following”.

The company heralds the device as “the most powerful and refined device Samsung has ever delivered”.

Mr McGregor states remarks of the device’s position in the market place:

“The Galaxy Note8 is the ultimate in Samsung smartphone technology and represents the absolute pinnacle of what Australians expect from a premium device”.

The device features “cinematic” Infinity Display, an S Pen, dual lens camera and a host of other specifications.

Australian consumers who pre-order the device from a participating retailer before the 21st of September are eligible to receive a complimentary Samsung Convertible Fast Wireless Charger (RRP $119), redeemable through Samsung here.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be priced at $1,499 and available in ‘Midnight Black’ and ‘Maple Gold’.
