Among its many CES 2023 announcements, Samsung has presented an upgraded version of its budget smartphone, with a larger screen, a much better camera, and 5G connectivity.
The Galaxy A14 5G will be available for US$199, meaning its likely to land around the A$300 range when released in Australia.
The A14 5G offers a 6.6-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, up from the previous generation’s 6.5-incher, as well as a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, compared to the A13’s 5-megapixel snapper.
The phone sports 64 gigabytes of memory, but doesn’t feature any speed, space, or battery upgrades from the A13.
Still, with the better camera and bigger screen, this phone is likely to drag many first-timers into the Samsung ecosystem.
