Ring Brings Affordable Retinal 2K Security Cameras to Australia with New Spotlight and Floodlight Range
Ring has expanded its Australian smart home lineup with the launch of the next-generation Spotlight Camera and Floodlight Camera, bringing its ‘Retinal 2K’ video technology to more affordable price points.
The Ring Spotlight Camera (2nd Gen) and Ring Floodlight Camera (2nd Gen) complete the company’s rollout of 2K resolution across its entire camera portfolio, offering sharper footage and improved visibility for Australian households.
The Spotlight Camera features 2K video capture, a 550-lumen spotlight for enhanced nighttime visibility, and support for Ring’s Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack for easier power management.

Meanwhile, the Floodlight Camera combines 2K video with 2000-lumen floodlights designed to cover larger outdoor spaces such as driveways, garages and backyards. Ring says the jump from 1080p to Retinal 2K improves clarity across the camera’s full field of view in both day and night conditions.
The Ring Spotlight Camera (2nd Gen) is priced at $279, with shipping to begin on 11 June 2026. The Ring Floodlight Camera (2nd Gen) is priced at $329 and will begin shipping from 4 June 2026.
